TechDisc for iOS makes it simple to connect to your TechDisc and begin measuring Spin, Speed, Nose angle, Hyzer angle, Launch angle and Wobble at home in your net or at the practice field.
TechDisc is an innovative new tool to Know Your Throw, with hardware and software designed by disc golfers to accelerate every athlete's progression in the sport.
A suite of sensors permanently attached to the center of a golf disc measures the forces and angles put on a disc. The data is transmitted to the app and uploaded to the cloud to crunch the data and determine throw type (Backhand, Forehand, Thumber, etc.) and angle (Flat, Hyzer, Anhyzer) to easily sort and filter your throws.
Measure your drive, upshots, standstills, hyzers, rollers and anything else you want to improve. Find average spin for your forehand shots and backhand shots with a tap. Know if that 70 MPH throw was a fluke or if you can count on it consistently.

Version 0.2.0 brings two highly anticipated features to iOS: flight number management and simulated flight paths!
When connected to your TechDisc, you can edit its flight numbers at any time through the new Device Info view by tapping the "Connected" button.
-Select Flight Numbers and tap the Slider/Custom button to edit your flight numbers
-Adding presets to the quick access menu is as simple as entering a name while configuring flight numbers
Of course, editing flight numbers isn't very fun if you can't see the outcome, which is why we're also bringing simulator data to iOS for the first time! The Flight Path chart provides a familiar way to visualize your simulated flight while adding a few key pieces of data (apex and final position) to give a more complete picture of your shot.
As usual, this update also comes with a number of bug fixes and optimizations to make sure your TechDisc experience is smoother than ever.

Version 0.1.13 adds new device customization options than enable you to set a name and color for your TechDisc as well as view your disc's all time and current session throw counts. This information can be accessed by tapping on the small popup that briefly appears upon connecting to your TechDisc or tapping the "Connected" button while paired. Additionally, this update fixes a number of bugs, including one that could occasionally result in a throw failing to transfer from TechDisc indefinitely.
